04 — Success case
We designed, developed and operated a Gipuzkoan city council's commerce voucher platform across three editions (2021, 2022 and 2024), with continuity foreseen "in 2024 and successive years" by municipal decree. Klik · Commerce voucher platform is the proprietary productisation of that validated model, with an API-first core under construction.
A municipal voucher programme must verify eligibility (registered residents aged 16+), cap amounts (max 12 vouchers per person with €60 of subsidy, €20 minimum purchase, 20,000-voucher quota), protect buyers' data and justify every euro to the audit office.
€10 vouchers (€5 council + €5 consumer) with a unique code and QR, Basque-first entry, payment gateway (2021) and acquisition mode (2022+). Each shop sees only its own buyers — privacy by design —, validates in batch and records ticket number, date and amount. Public counter of remaining vouchers, Excel export for subsidy processing, merchant training and support throughout the campaign.
80 participating shops in 2021, aiming to pass one hundred in 2022; the 2022 internal control log records cancellations for purchases above the limit — demand pushed against the quota. The 2024 award (redesign, six improvements, maintenance and training) is a public document evidencing continuity. 97% of the vouchers issued were redeemed in local shops.
We'll show you on the platform itself.
